Tony Renna

Tony Renna has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Tony started their career in 2004 as a Field Applications/Customer Support Engineer at Continuous Computing, where they provided technical support for hardware and software. Tony then joined Entropic Communications in 2007 as a Staff Systems Test Engineer, where they performed systems testing for networking products.

In 2009, Tony worked as a Systems Integration and Test Engineer (Contractor) at Curtiss-Wright Corporation, where they conducted integration and testing of computer systems for military vehicles. Tony then moved to Cohu Electronics in 2011 as a Test Engineer (Contractor), focusing on testing video cameras and associated web servers.

From 2012 to 2014, Tony worked as a Senior Software QA Engineer at Allot Communications, where they tested video optimization systems. Tony then joined ViaSat Inc. in 2014 as a Service Engineer, responsible for customer support and network operations of a satellite network.

In 2016, Tony joined Verimatrix as a Senior Software QA Engineer, leading software QA and systems testing for digital resource management systems. Tony then worked at Brain Corp from 2018 to 2022 as a Lead Technical Services Engineer, where they scaled technical support capabilities and trained OEM partners for autonomous robotic systems.

In 2022, Tony joined XCOM Labs as a VR Systems Integration and Test Engineer/Senior Member of Technical Staff. Tony created test plans and implemented test management software for split rendering software.

Currently, Tony is working at Decision Sciences as a Sr Systems Test Engineer, starting from 2023.

Tony Renna has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science obtained from National University, which they completed from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they earned an associate's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Mesa College, where they studied from 1990 to 1993. In terms of certifications, Tony has completed the "Certificate in Computer Networking" from UC San Diego Extended Studies in 1996-1997. Moreover, they have obtained various certifications, including "Python Essential Training" from LinkedIn in August 2022, "VCAS MultiRights OTT Network Engineer," "VCAS for IPTV Network Engineer," and "VCAS for Internet TV Network Engineer" from Verimatrix in December 2016, and "SAFe® 4 Certified Practitioner" from Scaled Agile, Inc. in September 2017.
