Graeme Stanway has over 30 years of work experience, beginning in 1991 as a Senior Planner for ASC Pty Ltd. Graeme then moved to Hamersley Iron (Rio Tinto) in 1995 as a Manager. In 2001, they became the Executive Manager of Strategic Marketing for Graeme'smelt Corporation Pty. Limited. In 2004, they joined Rio Tinto as Chief Consultant Iron ore. In 2007, they co-founded VCI and served as Managing Director. In 2013, they co-founded DecisionNext and served as a Board Member. In 2018, they co-founded VCI Capital Management and served as Chairman. Finally, in 2021, they joined Slate Advisory as a Director.

Graeme Stanway has an impressive educational background. Graeme holds a PhD in Engineering from Imperial College London, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Monash University, a BE(HONS, 1st Class) in Civil Engineering from the University of Adelaide, and a high school diploma from Clare High School.
