Nick Pittinger

Nick Pittinger has a diverse work experience in data services and analytics. Nick currently holds the position of Director of Data Services at Decisiv, Inc., where they focus on utilizing service repair data to identify insights and drive efficiencies in the commercial trucking industry. Nick also has experience as the Sr Manager of Data Science and Analytics at Decisiv, Inc., where they worked on continuous improvement of data quality and developed innovative data solutions for business partners. Prior to their current role, Nick worked at Capital One as a Director, leading the data strategy for account and customer migration across core banking systems. Nick also served as a Sr Data Analyst Manager and Data Analyst Manager, where they led teams in supporting call center operations and implementing reporting solutions. Earlier in their career, Nick worked as a Sr Data Analyst, supporting various business partners in the ICCOS organization. Nick also worked as a Data Analyst, focusing on email marketing and generating backoffice correspondence reporting. Throughout their career, Nick has gained experience with various tools, techniques, languages, and environments such as PostgreSQL, Redshift, SQL, Python, github, Confluence, Jira, Jaspersoft, ZoomData, Unix, KSH, SAS, Business Objects, Microstrategy, Brio, Teradata.

Nick Pittinger completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a minor in Spanish from Virginia Tech in 2001. Nick later pursued a Master of Science degree in Decision Sciences and Business Analytics from the School of Business at Virginia Commonwealth University, which they completed from 2008 to 2011.
