Sam Ackerman, CPA

Sam Ackerman, CPA has a diverse work experience in the financial and accounting field. In 2014, Sam worked as a Human Resources Project Manager Intern at Canon Business Process Services, Inc. The following year, they interned as a Revenue Accounting Intern at Allergan. In 2016, Sam gained experience as a Financial Services Assurance Intern at Ernst & Young. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at EY, first as a Financial Services - Wealth & Asset Management Assurance Senior and later as a Business Finance Consultant - Wealth & Asset Management. In 2021, Sam joined Centerbridge Partners, L.P. as a Fund Accountant before transitioning to their current role as an Assistant Controller at Declaration Partners in 2023.

Sam Ackerman, CPA holds a Master's Degree in Accounting, which was obtained from the University at Buffalo School of Management, The State University of New York, from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting at the same institution from 2012 to 2016.
