Eric Sammer

Eric Sammer is the CEO and founder of Decodable. Eric was previously the VP, Sr. Distinguished Engineer at Splunk from October 2017 to January 2021. In this role, they were responsible for the technical direction of Splunk's cloud services, including identity and access control; API gateways; hybrid on prem connectivity; metering and service usage; service quotas; account management, commerce, and entitlements; metadata management; auditing; and ingest, stream processing, and messaging.

Prior to Splunk, Eric was the CTO at Rocana from April 2014 to October 2017. Eric was also the Engineering Manager at Cloudera from March 2010 to April 2014, and a Software Engineer at Magnetic from October 2009 to March 2010. Eric started their career as a System Architect at Conductor, Inc. from September 2008 to October 2009.
