Than Tran

Than Tran has over 13 years of experience in marketing, demand generation, and go-to-market strategies. In 2007, they began their career as Director, Global Marketing Programs at Actuate Corporation (Acquired by OpenText Analytics). Here, they were responsible for leading global marketing and programs to drive $100M in net new, renewal, and up-sell revenue. In 2010, they moved to Clearwell (acquired by Symantec) as Senior Director, Global Demand Generation, where they doubled the pipeline and closed revenue from $15M to over $28M for the eDiscovery product line. In 2011, they joined TrustArc as Head of Demand Generation, leading all aspects of strategic global demand generation to reach revenue of $50M per year. In 2013, they founded Bodhi Automation, Inc. (acquired by Ringlead), providing business marketers an integrated solution for mobile and online marketing. In 2015, they joined Salesforce as Integrated Marketing Consultant, designing integrated demand generation campaigns including digital and offline programs. In 2017, they moved to Reciprocity, Inc. as Senior Director, Demand Generation and Marketing, leading all aspects of marketing and demand generation to drive 25% revenue growth QoQ. In 2018, they joined Stem, Inc. as Vice President, Global Marketing and Demand Generation (IPO), where they were a key contributor in growing and taking the company to initial public offering (IPO). In 2020, they took on the role of Interim Vice President, Marketing at Diamanti. Finally, in 2021, they joined MongoDB as Senior Director, Global Integrated Campaigns and GTM, and in 2022, they became Vice President Marketing at Decodable.

Than Tran obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from California State University - East Bay in 1989-1992. Than also obtained a BS in Marketing and Economics from the same university. In 1998-2002, they earned a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Marketing from California State University - East Bay. In 2000, they obtained a Project Management Professional Certification from the Project Management Institute. Additionally, they hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
