Angela Yang

Angela Yang has a diverse range of work experience. Currently, they are a Medical Student at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, starting in July 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Marketing at BSCF | Tech & Entrepreneurship Forum since June 2018. Angela also worked as a Research Assistant at Stanford University School of Medicine from July 2019 to May 2022. Angela has experience in legislative affairs as the Director at the Associated Students of the University of California Office of Senator Lynn Shiun from August 2017 to June 2018, and as the Director at the Associated Students of the University of California Office of Senator Xiao Li from August 2016 to June 2017. Angela worked as a Medical Scribe at Alameda Hospital from January 2017 to June 2018. Angela's educational background includes serving as a Drop-in Tutor and a Medical Section Facilitator at the University of California, Berkeley from August 2016 to May 2018, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Marletta Lab from February 2016 to December 2016. Angela also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Ahituv Lab at the University of California, San Francisco from January 2017 to November 2017. Additionally, Angela interned at Stanford Cardiothoracic Surgical Skills Summer Internship for two months in August and September 2017. Lastly, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Nomura Research Group from April 2015 to December 2015.

Angela Yang holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences - Toxicology and Microbial Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to that, they completed their International Baccalaureate at Dulwich College Beijing. Currently, Angela is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at Thomas Jefferson University. In addition, they have obtained certification as an Open Water Diver from PADI.
