Francois Laberge

Francois Laberge is the CEO of Decode, a whiteboard that writes and explains code for you. They previously led software development and product initiatives as CTO at Brass Monkey (2011-2013), where they built the HTML5 SDK, game console, developer portal, and authored patent applications related to mesh networking, virtual screen coordination, and video/audio streaming. They also served as CTO of 3 Birds Marketing LLC (2009-2010), architecting an end-to-end marketing, sales, and inventory tracking web application and integrating email, promotions, brand websites, social media campaigns, and analytics. Their experience includes roles as Principal Software Engineer at Brightcove (2014-2015) and Software Architect at Bose Corporation (2017-2022), where they built APIs with Node/AWS and contributed to ML-based noise removal, AR/VR prototyping, and related hardware/software exploration. They are pursuing a Diploma in Video Game Programming at Digipen Institute of Technology.
