Michael Burgess

Michael Burgess has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. In their current position as the Head of Consultancy at Decoded, they oversee technical solution consultancy for a range of areas including data, analytics, AI, and data engineering. Prior to this, they held various roles at QA Ltd, including Head of Capability, Principal Technologist for Data Insight, Principal Technologist for Machine Learning, and Senior Learning Consultant. Michael has also worked as an Interim CTO at WHITE LABEL FINANCE LIMITED, as a Technical Architect at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA), and as a Researcher at a classified company. Additionally, they have held positions as a Lead Programmer at Sky Sports and as a Technical Project Manager at Holiday Extras. Michael started their career as a Principal Technical Analyst at EE.
