Thomas van Uden

Thomas van Uden has a diverse work experience that spans across different industries and roles. Thomas started their career as a Transcriber at TranscriptieSpecialist in 2011 and later became a Corrector before being promoted to Transcription Manager. In 2013, they ventured into entrepreneurship and founded TimeWorld, a company that sold unique watches to both B2B and B2C customers. Thomas served as the Owner of TimeWorld until 2019. In 2015, Thomas joined Decowraps as a Logistics Specialist, where they managed daily operational flows and implemented structural improvement projects. Thomas later became an Operations Manager, overseeing two departments and leading multiple projects. In 2019, they were promoted to Director of Operations Europe, responsible for managing Decowraps' European operations. Finally, in 2022, Thomas assumed the role of Global Director of Sourcing & Costing at Decowraps, where they currently work.

Thomas van Uden has an extensive education history. Thomas obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) in 2014. During their Bachelor's degree, they specialized in the field of Business Administration. Following this, Thomas pursued a Minor in Entrepreneurship at the VU Amsterdam, which they completed in 2014-2015.

Thomas then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Transport & Supply Chain Management at the VU Amsterdam, which they successfully obtained in 2015. This furthered their expertise in the field of Supply Chain Management.

Prior to their university studies, Thomas completed their high school education at Christelijk Gymnasium Utrecht from 2004 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Thomas has also obtained several certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills in the field of Supply Chain Management. Thomas obtained the Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification from APICS in July 2019. Furthermore, in January 2023, they obtained the Supply Chain Procurement Certificate from the Association for Supply Chain Management. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to staying updated with industry standards and best practices in the field.
