Seth Benton

Seth Benton is an experienced writer and developer with a strong background in technical documentation, algorithm development, and data analysis. Currently at Decred since November 2018, Seth has contributed to blockchain governance by writing Python scripts for voting data analysis and establishing a MySQL database for GitHub contributor data. Prior to this, work included algorithmic trading in cryptocurrencies, founding Tuneout.io, and various technical writing roles across companies like Practice Fusion and Nuna Inc. Notable technical achievements involve adapting machine learning algorithms and documenting data ingestion pipelines. Seth holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Miami.
