Patrick Hayes, MInstD, is the Chief Executive Officer of Decta Limited in Ireland. Hayes joined Decta Ireland before authorisation and brought the company to EMI authorisation in March 2024, holding PCF-1 (Executive Director) and PCF-8 (CEO) approvals from the Central Bank of Ireland. Prior to this, Hayes served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Soldo from 2021 to 2023, where the Ireland and UK operations were led, processing revenue doubled in the last six months of 2021, and more than $180 million was raised in a Series C funding round in 2021. Hayes has held senior leadership roles at MasterCard Worldwide (2006–2011), MasterCard Payment Gateway Services (2014–2016), Ingenico ePayments (2016–2018), First Data Corporation (2018–2019), and EML (2019–2021). Hayes attended Technological University Dublin from 1984 to 1987.
