Kan Mongwa

Kan Mongwa has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 25 years. They started their career in 1995 as a Lead Programmer Analyst at the State University of New York at Buffalo. In 1998, they joined Microsoft as a Program Manager until 2004. They then moved to Intrinsic Technologies, where they served as a Senior Consultant and Software Developer from 2006 to 2011. From 2011 to 2018, they returned to Microsoft, initially as a Senior Consultant specializing in Microsoft Azure and System Center and then as a Cloud Solution Architect. Currently, Kan is working at DeCurtis Corporation, where they have held various roles, including Client Director and currently Partner Director.

Kan Mongwa obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, from 1991 to 1995. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Information Systems Management from Seattle Pacific University, which was completed from 1999 to 2003.

In terms of additional certifications, Kan Mongwa received the MS: Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions certification from Microsoft in February 2015. They also obtained the MS: Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions certification from Microsoft in January 2015. Furthermore, they obtained the ITIL v3 Foundations certification from EXIN in August 2010.
