Kai Baumgart has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Kai started their career in 2005 with an internship in engineering and automotive at Peiker Acustic. In 2006, they became a research assistant at the University of Kassel. In 2009, they joined SMA Solar Technology AG as a Hardware Engineer, where they worked on communication systems and high-speed designs. Kai later became a System Engineer, leading hardware-related development projects and providing concepts and consulting for complex embedded hardware designs. In 2015, they joined Dedrone as a Senior Engineer, and then progressed to the role of Lead Engineer RF Development. Currently, they serve as the Director of Sensor Technology at Dedrone. Primarily, their work focuses on sensor technology, RF development, and embedded hardware designs.
Kai Baumgart pursued their education in Electrical Engineering from the year 2000 to 2008 at the University of Kassel. During this time, they earned a Diplom (Dipl.-Ing.) and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in the same field.
