Test And Evaluation Engineer at Dedrone

Marlin Stewart began their career in 2001 as a F/A-18 Weapons Systems Technician for the United States Marine Corps, where they performed mechanical and electronic maintenance on aircraft weapons systems and loaded weapons and stores on F/A-18 aircraft. In 2006, they took a role as a Bicycle Mechanic and Salesperson for Bike Tech, where they worked in bicycle repair and sales in the summer and small engine and snow blower repair in the winter. In 2007, they became an Electrician for Eagle Electric. In 2011, they joined Detroit Diesel as an Applied Controls Systems Engineer, where they developed and executed integrated performance and reliability tests for new software releases and features of powertrain control systems for Class 8 On-Highway trucks and passenger busses. In 2015, they joined Oceaneering Entertainment Systems as a Sr. Electro-Mechanical Quality Inspector, where they performed high level workmanship and quality inspections of cable assemblies, component installation, and wire terminations on passenger vehicles produced for the entertainment industry and sub-sea vehicles for the U.S. Government. From 2017 to 2022, they worked as a Hardware Test Engineer for Apollo Video Technology. Marlin is currently employed as a System Validation Test Engineer for Dedrone.

Marlin Stewart attended Wayne State University from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
