Dee Anderson has enjoyed a long and diverse career in television, theatre and film, working alongside legendary performers and appearing in exciting shows throughout the UK.   

In recent years, Dee released a highly acclaimed album called Love In A Dark Place, toured numerous music venues and co-founded Wonderbirds and Beauty Investigates with Debbie Arnold.

As the daughter of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson, the creators of Thunderbirds and other classic television series, Dee grew up in a world of celebrity, creativity and entertainment and began singing, writing, and acting from an early age, making her first public appearance as a singer at just eight years old.

As a motivational speaker and advocate for women, Dee shares her story at business events, women’s networks, and The Chamber of Commerce, speaking about embracing career change, growing up in a show business family, and finding her own path in the public eye.

She also shares behind-the-scenes memories of Thunderbirds and her mother’s groundbreaking role in television and film, an achievement honoured with a plaque at Pinewood Studios.

To celebrate 60 years of Thunderbirds we’re taking a nostalgic journey behind the scenes of the iconic TV series. Co-written with Natalie Ogle, with Visual Director Simon Withington and in association with Misty Moon ‘Growing Up with Thunderbirds’ is an intimate and engaging live show that offers a unique personal perspective on one of the most beloved TV series of all time. 

Having lived and breathed the world of Thunderbirds from childhood, Dee shares behind-the-scenes stories, personal anecdotes, and a deep dive into how the show came to life.
