Deeflect is the personal practice of Dmitry Kargaev, AI engineer, product designer, and author based in Los Angeles.

Kargaev started freelancing in graphic design at 14 in Siberia. By 22 he was leading a design team at a Moscow agency, designing apps for Kaspersky, OTPBank, and 50+ other clients. He spent five years as Lead Product Designer at VALK (now DatAI Network), an investment platform serving 70+ financial institutions across 15 countries with $4B+ in deals managed.

Now he builds multi-agent AI systems, apps, and automations. His open-source tools include McClaw (hardware-aware LLM recommendations), Codemode (API access for AI agents in 1000 tokens), and a suite of Rust CLI tools at dee.ink.
