Andra Cimpan

Andra Cimpan is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in product and user experience design. Currently serving as a Staff Product Designer at Deel since January 2023, Andra is leading the design and vision for a new US payroll product while also establishing the team and setting strategic directions. Prior experience includes roles as Lead Product Designer at Capbase, where Andra shaped product design initiatives, and as a UX Designer at Upfort and Ericsson, focusing on user research and interface design for complex software. Andra's earlier positions include UX Analyst at VIPERA Plc, UI Engineer at 3Pillar Global, and various development roles. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction and Design from Aalto University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Babes-Bolyai University, among other credentials.
