Ash Tousi

Ash Tousi is a seasoned professional in data and engineering with extensive experience in academia and industry. Roles include Honorary Lecturer at the University of Glasgow, where responsibilities involved liaising for research projects and advising on distributed computing initiatives. Currently serving as Director of Data & Engineering at Deel, Ash previously held positions at Safeguard Global, including Lead Principal Engineer and Director of Data & Engineering, where initiatives focused on analytics and data management. Prior engineering experience includes significant contributions at Arm, where Ash progressed through various roles, culminating in software engineering and program co-chair positions. Ash’s academic foundation includes a PhD in Computing Science from the University of Glasgow and a Master’s in Computer Engineering from SBU.
