Danny Gillespie

Danny Gillespie is an experienced business leader with a diverse background in global payroll, operations strategy, and board governance. Currently serving as General Manager of Global Payroll at Deel since March 2025, Danny has also been a Partner at Capital Factory since June 2015 and a Board Member at McBryde Oil since 2013. Leadership roles include Chairman of the Board at the Austin Music Foundation and former CEO/President of Global Pay at Safeguard Global from October 2018 to September 2025. Previous experience includes senior positions at Mood Media and IdealFlow, Inc., as well as directorships at Grounded in Music and KLRU-TV. Danny holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Baylor University and a BA in Political Science and Government from The University of Texas at Austin.
