Derek Wu

Derek Wu is a Critical Care Medicine Fellow at Stanford Health Care, with extensive experience in clinical machine learning at Deep Breathe and information technology consulting at WesternSono. Derek has played a crucial role in developing digital media projects for point-of-care ultrasound, serving as the primary manager for the Canadian Resuscitative Ultrasound Course, and handling advertisement and digital design for the course targeting acute care physicians. Prior experience includes serving as a resident physician in internal medicine at London Health Sciences Centre, a first aid instructor with the Canadian Red Cross, and a research associate at Lawson Health Research Institute, where there was a focus on cardiac biomarkers. Derek holds a professional degree in Medicine from Western University and participated in the International Health and Equity Learning Exchange Program at Semmelweis University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Basic Medical Sciences from Western University.
