Colin Burnham

Colin Burnham has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Colin is currently the Co-founder and COO of Deep Detection, a company specializing in inspection technology for manufacturing lines. Prior to this, they founded Animar Tech, where they provided consultation and delivery of technology-enabled innovation programs for small and medium enterprises.

Colin also has experience in the food and beverage industry, having worked at PepsiCo for many years. Colin held various senior positions, including R&D Senior Director for Beverage, Europe & Sub Sahara Africa, R&D Director for South West Europe, and R&D Director for Iberia & West Europe. In these roles, they led portfolio transformations, product innovation, and optimization initiatives.

Colin's earlier career includes roles at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Technologies, and at ADM, where they served as a Product Development Manager.

Colin Burnham has a strong educational background in science and technology. Colin earned their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom, from 1989 to 1991. Prior to that, they completed their A Levels at Manor High School in Liverpool, UK, specializing in Chemistry, Physics, Math, and General Studies from 1984 to 1989.

Colin's education continued with a focus on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Technologies. Colin pursued a Master's degree in this field at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Spain, from 2018 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a Remote Pilot Certification from AESA (Agencia Estatal de Seguridad Aérea) in September 2019, demonstrating their expertise in flying unmanned aerial vehicles.
