Fernanda Massaro

Fernanda Massaro is an environmental engineer and urban planner, holding a bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Urban Engineering and a master’s in Environmental Science and Technology from the University of Porto. Currently, Fernanda is a doctoral candidate in Environmental Science at the University of São Paulo, focusing on deforestation and climate change. With extensive experience in sustainability, particularly in agribusiness and fintech, Fernanda has developed solid skills in project management and communication. In their role as the leader of methodology and research at a sustainability-focused startup, they manage a team, develop environmental impact assessment methodologies, and specialize in carbon emissions calculation and greenhouse gas inventory development.
