Matt Steinwald

Matt Steinwald is an accomplished creative leader with extensive experience in advertising and design. As Managing Director and Chief Creative Officer at Deep Focus in October 2024, Matt was instrumental in driving creative strategy. Prior roles include SVP and Executive Creative Director at Engine US from July 2018 to October 2023 and Creative Director at DDB from April 2007 to September 2012, where successful marketing campaigns contributed significantly to client growth. Matt has also held positions as Creative Director/Art Director at The Vault NYC, where award-winning campaigns were developed, and Freelance Art Director/Designer at Whitehall Advertising, focusing on luxury spirit brands. With a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and further education in Advertising and Design from the School of Visual Arts, Matt combines technical expertise with creative vision.
