Denis Gallagher

Lead / Principal Scientist at Deep Genomics

Denis Gallagher is a Senior Scientist at Deep Genomics, leading cell biology initiatives since August 2020, and previously served as a Scientist focusing on CNS program leadership. Before this role, Denis was the Research Team Lead at CReATe Program Inc. from April 2016 to August 2020, managing a team dedicated to preclinical stem cell therapies for inflammatory and neurological conditions. Denis has also worked as a post-doctoral fellow at The Hospital for Sick Children from October 2008 to March 2016, exploring the maternal environment's impact on fetal brain development and developing protocols for generating human forebrain neurons. Denis completed a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience at Cardiff University and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience from University College Cork.
