Jeff Wintersinger is a Principal Scientist in computational biology at Deep Genomics. They previously worked on Bayesian methods for inferring cancer evolutionary history in Quaid Morris' lab at the University of Toronto. Jeff's extensive academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and a Master's Degree, both from the University of Toronto, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Calgary. They are passionate about applying advanced computer science techniques to solve complex problems in biology and medicine, frequently collaborating with biologists and clinicians to develop innovative machine-learning methods and visualizations.
