Reginald Van Lee

Reginald (Reggie) Van Lee is the Chief Transformation Officer of the Carlyle Group and the former Head of Commercial Business & Executive Vice President of the global management and technology consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton. In this capacity, Reggie focused on cyber security, deep analytics and regulatory compliance. He is the co-author of the book, “Mega communities – How Leaders of Government, Business and Non-Profits Can Tackle Today’s Global Challenges Together.”

Amongst many notable accolades, Reggie received the 2008 Black Engineer of the Year Award, Consulting Magazine named Reggie as one of the top 25 consultants in the world in 2008, and he was identified as one of the 2009 Washington Minority Business Leaders by the Washington Business Journal. Reggie has co-authored a number of articles on the topic of strategy implementation. These articles have appeared in publications such as The Journal of Business Strategy and Business Horizons. He has appeared on ABC-TV’s “World News This Morning” and CNBC, and co-led the Urban Enterprise Initiative, which focused on driving enhanced competitiveness of small businesses in Harlem.

Reggie holds a Bachelors and Masters in Civil Engineering from MIT and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard University.
