They have global experience in the development, delivery and consultation of patient-centric solutions for clinical trials since 2000, with expertise in ePRO and patient engagement across the USA, Europe and Asia, and they are also a competitive mountain runner with professional SCUBA instructor certification. Prior to DEEP Measures, Kai Langel served as Senior Director, Strategy and Innovation, Global Regulatory Policy and Intelligence at Janssen (2021–2024) and as Director, Janssen Clinical Innovation (2017–2021). They co-founded eClinicalHealth Ltd (2012–2017) and held multiple roles at CRF Health (2008–2011) and CRF Inc (2006–2010), focusing on ePRO, data collection systems and clinical trial technology.
