Pawel Janczyk is a highly qualified drug discovery scientist with over 10 years of experience in protein biochemistry, biophysics, structural biology, molecular biology, and cellular biology. Currently a Senior Scientist at Deep Origin, they focus on early-stage drug discovery efforts, having previously served as Lead Scientist at BridgeBio and GondolaBio, where they contributed significantly to preclinical programs from assay development to lead optimization. Pawel completed a PhD in Biophysics at the University of Virginia and has also held research positions at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and the Polish Academy of Sciences, along with training at EMBL.
