Yuxin Hou

Yuxin Hou is a Senior Research Engineer at Deep Render since September 2023, specializing in neural video compression and model quantization. Prior experience includes a role as a Machine Learning Engineer at Niantic, Inc., where Yuxin designed and developed internal visual localization pipelines, and as a Research Intern at Facebook, focusing on algorithms for structure-based localization with Neural Radiance Fields, resulting in a paper published at the ECCV workshop 2022. Yuxin's internship at Amazon as an Applied Scientist involved developing algorithms for disentangled representations, leading to a publication at ICCV 2021. Yuxin holds a PhD in Computer Science from Aalto University, an MRes in Web Science and Big Data Analytics from UCL, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
