Moustafa K. is a Senior Associate in Systems Design at Deep Science Ventures since July 2023, focusing on creating high-impact ventures in the sectors of Pharmaceuticals, Climate, Agriculture, and Computation. Previously, Moustafa served as an Associate in Systems Design at RTW Investments, LP, and as a Research Associate at The Francis Crick Institute. Moustafa also held roles as a Visiting Researcher at Innovation Forum while managing its London Branch, and as a Vice President and founding member of the Apollo Society London. Moustafa's early career includes experience as a Research and Teaching Assistant at The American University in Cairo and as a Project Development Consultant. Moustafa holds a PhD in Stem Cells and Genetic Engineering from UCL, a Master of Research in Biosciences, and a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology from The American University in Cairo.
