Cheng Hwee Chee

Cheng Hwee Chee has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 1987, Chee worked at Apple Computer as a Senior Engineer, where they designed desktop Macintosh computer models and managed an engineering team for test equipment design. They then co-founded DVDO in 1997, where they had P&L responsibility for a division that produced HDMI and wireless connectivity products. In 2000, Chee joined Silicon Image as the Director of CE Technical Marketing and later worked at Anchor Bay Technologies as the VP of Technology, overseeing system and semiconductor product roadmaps.

Chee then took on various roles at Silicon Image, serving as the Sr. Director of Marketing and the Marketing Director. They managed the home theater product roadmap and worked with engineering teams to develop HDMI switching and video processing products. In 2012, Chee joined DVDO again, this time as the General Manager, handling the P&L responsibility for the division.

Continuing their career, Chee joined Lattice Semiconductor in 2015 as the Sr. Director of Marketing, leading a team responsible for managing the product roadmap and promoting low power FPGAs and wireless products. In 2019, Chee moved to Futurewei Technologies as the Senior Director of Business Development & Partnerships, where they led partnerships with cloud and video streaming companies for video surveillance and set-top-box segments. Lastly, currently in 2022, Chee is serving as the Senior Director of Marketing at Kinara, Inc., focusing on product marketing, management, and key account management for hardware and software edge AI solutions.

Throughout their career, Chee has shown expertise in various areas, including product marketing, business development, partnerships, and leading teams. They have a proven track record of managing key relationships, achieving design wins, and delivering products based on market needs.

Cheng Hwee Chee holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, they have obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Cheng Hwee Chee has also completed various certifications in the field of machine learning and negotiation. Cheng Hwee obtained certifications in Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Machine Learning from Coursera. In December 2017, they also obtained a certification in Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills from Coursera.
