Joel Patton

Joel Patton has been in the software industry since 2003. Joel began their career as a Sr. Consultant at Gandillon & Associates in 2003. In 2007, they moved to Accenture Software (formerly Duck Creek Technologies) as a Software Product Specialist. In this role, Joel provided complete lifecycle support of the sales process for enterprise application for the P&C Insurance industry, including responding to functional and technical RFI and RFP requests. In 2012, Joel joined Guidewire Software as a Technical Sales Consultant. In 2015, they founded and became the CTO of Deep Water Software.

Joel Patton attended Southwest Baptist University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science. Joel then attended Dallas Theological Seminary from 2005 to 2007, studying Theology.
