Dirk Rosen

Dirk Rosen is the Executive Vice President of Engineering at DEEP, where they supervise the design, build, and deployment of underwater habitats in support of ocean science and restoration. They previously served as the President and Founder of Marine Applied Research & Exploration, managing marine fish census surveys and the recovery of lost fishing gear using ROVs. With extensive experience in deep-sea exploration, Dirk has managed the build and testing of manned submersibles and remotely operated vehicles throughout their career, which includes prior roles at Hawkes Ocean Technologies and Deep Ocean Engineering. Dirk holds a degree with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
