Greg Barefoot

Greg Barefoot, PA-C, is currently serving as a Diving Medical Advisor at DEEP Research, Inc., where they provide advisory services and treatment recommendations in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine. They also hold the role of Diving Medical Officer for both the Medina Aquarius Program at Florida International University and Moody Gardens®, where they offer medical support and emergency care for diving operations. Previously, Greg worked with the Richland County Sheriff's Department from 2011 to 2020 as both a Public Safety Diver and Tactical Physician Assistant, alongside various roles in emergency medicine and hyperbaric care across several institutions. They continue to contribute to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Divers Association as a Diving Medical Officer and board member for the Dive Safety and Control Board of the South Carolina Institute for Archeology and Anthropology.
