Roger Garcia

Roger Garcia is currently the Director of Habitat Operations at DEEP, an ocean technology and exploration company, where they are dedicated to leveraging their extensive experience to advance underwater exploration. Roger previously served as the Diving Safety Officer at Florida International University from 2013 to 2025, managing the university's diving program and training scientific divers. Additionally, they have been an active US Navy Diver and Diving Medical Technician since 1992, contributing to both diving operations and medical support. Roger directed operations at the Aquarius Underwater Habitat for 13 years, ensuring safety and training for aquanauts while completing 15 saturation missions. They hold an Associate in Science degree in Medical/Clinical Assistance from Keiser University and specialized training from the US Navy.
