Timothy Phillips

Timothy Phillips has extensive work experience in software engineering and related fields. Timothy began their career in 2005 as an Electronic Services Support Engineer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - ITS Response Center. In 2008, they joined Warner Bros. Records as a Video Engineer, where they wrote transcoding scripts and encoded and compressed digital masters. From 2011 to 2012, Timothy worked at 3 Days Awake as a Web Developer and Software Engineer, automating image processing and generating HTML/PDFs from TIFF image files. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Software Engineer at RGB DEV, where they designed, developed, and deployed a sales application using React, Next.js, and Airtable, as well as an inventory tracking application to streamline warehouse activity. From 2017 to 2020, Timothy was a Software Engineer at Cycles, where they developed and deployed a 25 route REST API connecting to PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Shopify, and Stripe using Node.js, as well as four UIs using ES6+, Babel, webpack, React, and Redux embedded throughout the Shopify platform. Most recently, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Deep 6 AI since 2020.

Timothy Phillips attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music, Communications, and Audio/Video Production.
