Marcus Behrendt

Marcus Behrendt serves as the Managing Director of BMW i Ventures since August 2018 and is the CEO of BMW i Ventures Inc. in Silicon Valley, CA. In addition to leading BMW i Ventures GmbH in Munich, Marcus holds board positions at several companies, including DeepDrive, Bcomp Ltd, RLP, Rapid Liquid Print, Alitheon, Inc., and DSP Concepts, Inc. Furthermore, Marcus has been part of the strategic council at NAUTO and held various roles at BMW Group from 2013 to 2018, including Vice President of User Experience and HMI Concepts. Academically, Marcus completed the Venture Capital Executive Program at the University of California, Berkeley, and holds a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Management and Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin.
