Sebastian Schoch has worked in a variety of engineering roles since 2011. Sebastian's work experience includes roles such as Werkstudent, Praktikant im Ingenieurswesen, Student der Integrierten Produktenwicklung, Development Battery Systems, Development Engineer Batterycell and Batterysystem, Leaddesign Engineer E-Motor, Development Engineer E-Axle, and Powertrain Engineering. Sebastian began their career in 2011 as a Werkstudent at LuK GmbH & Co. KG, then moved on to become a Praktikant im Ingenieurswesen at the same company in 2012. In 2014, they became a Student der Integrierten Produktenwicklung at IpeK / Schaeffler, then a Development Battery Systems at Puls Performance Drives in 2015. In 2017, they became a Development Engineer Batterycell at Lithium Energy and Power GmbH & Co. KG, and a Development Engineer Batterycell and Batterysystem at Robert Bosch Battery Systems LLC. From 2018 to 2022, they held various roles at robert bosch, including Projectmanager Engineering E-Motor, Leaddesign Engineer E-Motor, and Development Engineer E-Axle. Sebastian is currently working as a Powertrain Engineering at DeepDrive.

Sebastian Schoch obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Maschinenbau from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) between 2009 and 2013. Sebastian then completed an Auslandssemester at the Istanbul Technical University in 2015, where they studied Maschinenbau. Sebastian finished their education with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Maschinenbau mit Vertiefung in Produktentwicklung und Konstruktion from KIT between 2013 and 2016.
