Thomas Ingalls

Thomas Ingalls has a diverse range of work experience. Thomas started their career as a Research Assistant at Concordia College in 2006. Thomas then worked as a Research Assistant at McGill University, where they investigated the effects of juvenile hormone treatment on caste development of ants. At Life Technologies, Thomas worked as a Laboratory Assistant, developing a high-throughput nucleotide incorporation screen for engineered polymerases. Thomas also interned as a Scientist, optimizing an ISSR-PCR plant genotyping workflow and using capillary electrophoresis for various applications. Thomas then joined McGill University as a Researcher, conducting a pilot study on evolutionary rescue and coordinating with lab members for sampling and data collection. As a Co-Founder of Bricobio, they coordinated volunteer efforts and created workshops. After that, they worked as a Software Engineer at E-panneur, where they focused on improving page load speeds, designing Angular components, and implementing a version control strategy. Currently, Thomas is working as a Software Engineer at DeepDyve.
