Pietro Dalpane

Pietro Dalpane has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2012, they completed a summer internship at WindSim AS, where they automated results using company software and developed a Matlab script that was integrated into a new software version.

In 2014, Pietro worked as a part-time department assistant at Politecnico di Milano, providing support in the Engineering Management department and contributing to the organization of a PhD conference.

Pietro interned at McKinsey New Ventures in 2015, gaining exposure to the consulting industry. From 2016 to 2018, Pietro worked at McKinsey & Company, initially as a Business Analyst and later as a Senior Associate / Junior Engagement Manager, where they led commercial due diligences for large investment firms and industrial investors on multiple targets.

In 2018, Pietro became an advisor at Mentorite LTD before joining OYO in 2020 as the Director of Oyo Vacation Homes. Pietro left OYO in 2021 and took on the role of Director of Operations (interim) at Catheon Gaming until the end of the year.

Most recently, in 2020, Pietro co-founded DeepGears and currently serves as the CEO.

Pietro Dalpane has a strong educational background in the field of energy engineering and sustainable energy. Pietro started their education at Liceo Scientifico A. Righi from 2006 to 2011, where they completed their high school education.

In 2011, Pietro enrolled at Politecnico di Milano, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Energy Engineering. Pietro excelled in their studies and obtained a degree with a 110/110 with Honors distinction, showcasing their exceptional academic performance.

During their time at Politecnico di Milano, in 2013, Pietro participated in the Erasmus Exchange Programme at the University of Glasgow, where they focused on Mechanical Engineering. This opportunity allowed him to broaden their knowledge and gain exposure to a different academic environment.

Driven by their passion for sustainable energy, Pietro pursued a Master's Degree in Sustainable Energy at Imperial College London from 2014 to 2015. Pietro graduated with distinction, highlighting their expertise and dedication in this field.

To further enhance their language skills, Pietro obtained an IELTS certification from Glasgow Caledonian University in December 2013. This certification exemplifies their commitment to improving their abilities and engaging in a diverse range of academic experiences.
