Brent George

Brent George is a Senior Software Engineer - Backend at Deepgram since May 2023, previously serving as a Senior Applied Engineer and Applied Engineer. Brent is also a Founding Member of the Sweater Cashmere Fund, focusing on providing long-term capital appreciation through venture capital investments. Prior experience includes roles at Navitaire as a Cloud Engineering Intern and Cloud Solutions Intern, where key contributions involved managing high-load systems and converting code to microservices. Brent served as Executive Director for Utah Underwater Robotics, overseeing a large K-12 robotics association, and worked as a Global Markets Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs, enhancing UAT environments for a trading platform. Additional experience includes being a Software Automation Engineer at Select Bankcard and a Software Development Intern at Scalar, contributing to process automation and database management. Brent holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Brigham Young University.
