Alastair Spinks is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at both Deephaven Data Labs and Illumon since 2016, Alastair has developed a strong expertise in software development and database administration. Prior to these roles, Alastair worked at Verizon for nearly 28 years, concluding as a Senior Engineer responsible for real-time routing systems in a 24x7 environment, with experience in feature development using C, C++, PL/SQL, and Java. Alastair holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earned between 1984 and 1988.
