Andrew Baranec

Andrew Baranec is a seasoned Software Engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and defense sectors. Currently employed at illumon since March 2017, Andrew has honed skills in software development. Prior to this, Andrew worked at Lockheed Martin from August 2009 to March 2017, where responsibilities included redesigning and coding the network backbone for an updated navigation system, assisting in FPGA design for integrated GPS solutions, and leading software engineering efforts for GPS integration. Andrew collaborated with various organizations, including the Department of Defense and the US Navy, to develop a common GPS solution. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earned between 2006 and 2009.
