Macit Tuna

Macit Tuna has a diverse work experience in the technology and internet industry. Macit is the Founder & CEO of Deepinfo, a company that deals with comprehensive Internet data and focuses on security. Macit is also a Co-Founder of DOFO, a platform for discovering domain names and the Internet. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Project Manager at YIVV Information Technologies and as a Cyber Security Engineer at TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Cyber Security Institute. Macit Tuna's earlier experiences include being the Founder & Writer of domainom.com, a popular domaining blog in Turkey, and working as a Blogger at domainusta.com.

Macit Tuna has a strong educational background in cybersecurity engineering and computer science. Macit obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Cybersecurity Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, which they pursued from an unspecified start year up until 2023. Prior to their PhD, Macit completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity Engineering and Cryptography from Istanbul Technical University, from 2015 to 2019. Macit also holds another MS degree in Cybersecurity Engineering from Istanbul Sehir University, completed between 2013 and 2015. Macit's undergraduate education consists of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Marmara University, which they completed from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from TOBB Ekonomi ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi, starting from 2005.

Macit Tuna has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. Macit received certificates in Agile Scrum Project Management, BPMN 2.0, and Software Modeling with UML from Tesodev in July 2015.
