Sebastian Enderlein

Sebastian Enderlein is an accomplished technology executive currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at DeepL since September 2024. In addition to this role, Sebastian has been actively advising and investing in various startups since February 2024. Previously, experiences at Personio included roles as Executive Vice President Engineering and Vice President of Engineering, where Sebastian contributed to building a top-tier engineering organization in a prominent European enterprise startup. Sebastian also managed Uber's Cloud infrastructure teams as Sr Manager and Engineering Manager II from October 2015 to September 2019. Earlier experiences at Salesforce encompassed positions as Senior Development Manager and Senior Software Developer, focusing on Java concurrent programming, distributed systems, and performance optimization. Sebastian holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Software Systems Engineering from the Hasso Plattner Institute.
