Andrew Ng

Founder at DeepLearning.AI

Andrew Ng is the founder of DeepLearning.AI and a world-renowned AI expert. Andrew has co-founded two companies, Coursera and Google Brain, and has served as Chief Scientist at Baidu. Andrew is currently an adjunct professor of computer science at Stanford University.

Ng's career in AI began as a research scientist at Stanford, where they led the Google Brain project, a deep learning research project within Google. Andrew then joined Baidu as Chief Scientist, where they oversaw the development of many AI applications including DuerOS, a conversational computer platform, and autonomous driving.

In 2014, Ng co-founded Coursera, an online education platform that offers massive open online courses. Coursera has since partnered with over 200 universities and corporations and has enrolled over 35 million students.

Most recently, in 2017, Ng founded Deeplearning.AI, a company that is dedicated to making deep learning more accessible to everyone. Deeplearning.AI offers online courses, a corporate training program, and an AI research lab.

Andrew Ng has a certification from Coursera in Introduction to Digital Sound Design.
