Ryan Keenan

Ryan Keenan is the Director of Product at DeepLearning.AI, the education arm of a broader AI ecosystem that includes an enterprise solutions group (Landing.AI) and a venture studio (AIFund). This ecosystem was founded by Andrew Ng to empower individuals and businesses to thrive in a future where AI is the new electricity. As Director of Product, Ryan works closely with Andrew to decide what courses to build next, who to build them with and how to deliver the best possible learner experience.

Prior to joining DeepLearning.AI, Ryan was the Head of Growth and Operations for Curriculum at Pathstream, where they led the growth of the curriculum team and development of technical curriculum programs in partnership with industry leading tech companies and higher-ed institutions.

Ryan began their career as a Freelance Data Analyst before becoming a Fulbright Fellow and then a PhD student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After completing their PhD, Ryan spent three years as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Academia Sinica Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics before joining DeepLearning.AI.

Ryan Keenan has a Ph.D. in Astrophysics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder, and Coursera Course Certificates in Hadoop Platform and Application Framework, Using Databases with Python, Business Metrics for Data-Driven Companies, Machine Learning, and Data Science and Machine Learning Essentials.
