Yan Wang

Yan Wang has a diverse work experience in various fields. Starting in 2018, Yan worked as a Software Developer (COOP) at Cancer Care Manitoba (CCMB) for a duration of 9 months. In 2021, Yan transitioned to the role of a Teaching Assistant (TA) at the University of Alberta, a position held for a year. During this time, Yan also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the RLAI Robotics Lab, headed by Prof. A. Rupam Mahmood at the University of Alberta. Yan's research position lasted from January 2021 to May 2023. Currently, Yan holds the position of a Machine Learning Engineer at DeepR Analytics, starting in April 2023.

Yan Wang holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science from the University of Manitoba, which was obtained from 2009 to 2011. Later, from 2015 to 2020, Yan completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering at the same institution. Currently, Yan is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Computing Science at the University of Alberta, starting in 2020 and expected to graduate in 2023.
