Al Key, Aff. M. ASCE, is the Vice President of DeepRoot Green Infrastructure, LLC, where they have been actively involved in the green industry for over 30 years. They co-invented the SilvaCell® and hold several patents related to urban tree and stormwater management. Al has contributed to numerous publications, including the Journal of Arboriculture and Civil Engineering News, and has played a pivotal role in high-profile projects such as the Martin Luther King Memorial in Washington, DC, and the Lincoln Center in NYC. Previously, they served as VP of Sales at DeepRoot Partners, L.P. from 1993 to 2011 and were a sales representative at Quark, Inc. from 1992 to 1994. Al is also a former board member of TreesNY and an affiliate member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
